Day 1: Paro to Jele Dzong

  • Start the trek from the Ta Dzong (National Museum) in Paro.
  • Trek uphill through blue pine forests and rhododendron trees.
  • Reach Jele Dzong, an ancient fortress perched on a ridge.
  • Camp overnight near Jele Dzong, enjoying panoramic views of Paro Valley.

Day 2: Jele Dzong to Jangchulakha

  • Begin the day with a gradual ascent through alpine meadows and yak herder camps.
  • Cross the Jele La Pass (3,490 meters), offering spectacular views of Mount Jomolhari and other snow-capped peaks.
  • Descend through dwarf rhododendron trees to reach Jangchulakha.
